The great thing about Michael is through all the highs and lows of selling a house, I knew he was all-in with us. If we were stressed, he was calming and understanding. We could contact him any time and he would be there for us. He responded to texts with phone calls. He was open and honest and upfront, which is much appreciated in this economy. He always kept us positive and kept us moving forward. I always felt like he was emotionally invested in this whole process and not just in it for the commission. This was our first time to sell a house, so there's so much I was not familiar with, but he was really patient about explaining all the ins and outs, even if I knew I was asking a basic question. Right up front Michael Berryman gave us an honest, detailed assessment of the market value of our home, in stark contrast to another agency competing for our business. The other agents first tried to impress us with their credentials, then they inappropriately inflated the market value of our house trying to win our business. I had come to know Michael through volunteer ministry at our church for two and a half years prior to placing our home on the market. Were it not for my detailed knowledge of his character, I likely would have been deceived into selecting the other agents. Throughout the sales process Michael was patient beyond measure, especially when answering all the questions my anxious wife came up with. Michael understood our need to sell quickly due to my company relocation, and he worked with me on a very short timeline to reduce the sales price. His strategy worked--we had a buyer within a month.

How we were treated with patience and kindness was important. Especially when it came to listening to our specific needs and what we envisioned. Also was looking for a broker who was actively involved day to day with good communication. Michael truly was better than we could have asked for. He was with us all the way up to the point where we were signing the papers and he still stayed attentive to recognize a discrepancy in the closing documents. We paused at the moment and had the documents redone and he ended up saving us well over $30k with that attention to detail. He truly is was a phenomenal agent. Overall, Michael is a great person! He is very genuine and we are so grateful we got to work with someone patient and helped us so much in our first home buying experience! We had a lot of questions and a lot to learn. Michael took our concerns seriously and took them into consideration when sending us properties to look at. Will definitely be referring him to family and friends and if we are ever in need of a broker for our own again, he will be the first person we contact!

Michael Berryman is an AWESOME individual to work with if you're on the hunt for your first home like we were. He got us in for every showing that we were interested in, he walked us through making our first offers, and when we finally got an offer accepted, he went above and beyond to make sure that we knew the details of what to expect during the closing process. A big plus for us was his family-oriented service. We always had our two young children with us and he would always volunteer to keep them preoccupied so that we could take our time viewing a home or concentrate on paperwork. Overall, Michael personalized this process for us and we wouldn't have been successful in finding the home we did if it wasn't for his persistence to keep pushing forward.
